This work of art by Jason Rhoades could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, the work Mecca Vulva (Sculpture To Illuminate Corner Of Wall) With Tuna Stone changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,266.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jason Rhoades achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three-Wheel Waggon-Wheel Chandelier in November this year with an auction result of USD 1,008,000.00 (€ 924,092.41).
