Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled no. 77-1, 1979 by Jan Groover was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2017. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,365.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Jan Groover have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work Still Life Studies was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,170.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled no. 77-1, 1979 von Jan Groover kam im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.365,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Groover konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2010 die Arbeit Still Life Studies für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.170,04) versteigert.
