This artwork by Jakub Julian Ziółkowski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Moi Przyjaciele (My Friends) sold for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,956.89) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jakub Julian Ziółkowski; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Olimp sold at auction in December last year with the realized price of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 31,293.18).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jakub Julian Ziółkowski erzielte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Moi Przyjaciele (My Friends) für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.956,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jakub Julian Ziółkowski; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Olimp im Dezember letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 31.293,18).
