Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Measure by Jack Tworkov was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 7,010.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Tworkov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Watergame in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 396,800.00 (€ 336,556.40).

Die Arbeit Measure von Jack Tworkov kam im März 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 7.010,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Tworkov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Watergame im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 396.800,00 (€ 336.556,40).
