Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marsh by Jack Tworkov was sold in the 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session auction at Phillips in New York in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 75,600.00 (€ 61,815.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jack Tworkov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Watergame in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 396,800.00 (€ 336,556.40).

Die Arbeit Marsh von Jack Tworkov wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 61.815,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00.
