Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lp #35 (Study After Friday) by Jack Tworkov was sold in the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,844.02). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Tworkov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Watergame in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 396,800.00 (€ 336,556.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lp #35 (Study After Friday) von Jack Tworkov wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.844,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Tworkov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Watergame im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 396.800,00 (€ 336.556,40).
