Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jack Levine could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art auction, the work The Crusader changed hands for USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,889.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jack Levine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Princess in December 2011 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 66,676.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jack Levine konnte im September 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
