Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Grepol - 1978 by Igor Mitoraj. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,904.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Igor Mitoraj achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work For Hadrian in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 584,000.00 (€ 529,513.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grepol - 1978 von Igor Mitoraj zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.904,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Igor Mitoraj erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit For Hadrian im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 584.000,00 (€ 529.513,10).
