Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait D'Homme by Igor Mitoraj was auctioned at Bonhams in June this year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,216.00 (€ 1,415.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Igor Mitoraj achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work For Hadrian in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 584,000.00 (€ 529,513.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait D'Homme von Igor Mitoraj kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.216,00 (€ 1.415,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Igor Mitoraj erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit For Hadrian im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 584.000,00 (€ 529.513,10).
