Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Argos II by Igor Mitoraj was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in December this year. It achieved a price of EUR 35,840.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Igor Mitoraj achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work For Hadrian in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 584,000.00 (€ 529,513.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Argos II von Igor Mitoraj kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 35.840,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Igor Mitoraj erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit For Hadrian im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 584.000,00 (€ 529.513,10).
