This artwork by Igor Mitoraj achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in November this year. In the Limited Edition auction, the work Persée - 1988 sold for EUR 9,840.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Igor Mitoraj achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work For Hadrian in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 584,000.00 (€ 529,513.10).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Igor Mitoraj erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Limited Edition wurde die Arbeit Persée - 1988 für EUR 9.840,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Igor Mitoraj erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit For Hadrian im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 584.000,00 (€ 529.513,10).
