Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Visage voilé by Igor Mitoraj was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,496.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Igor Mitoraj achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work For Hadrian in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 584,000.00 (€ 529,513.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Visage voilé von Igor Mitoraj wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.496,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Igor Mitoraj erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit For Hadrian im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 584.000,00 (€ 529.513,10).
