Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Centurion II -1987 by Igor Mitoraj was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 4,986.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Igor Mitoraj achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work For Hadrian in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 584,000.00 (€ 529,513.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Centurion II -1987 von Igor Mitoraj kam im November letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.986,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Igor Mitoraj erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit For Hadrian im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 584.000,00 (€ 529.513,10).
