Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Sun Dial by Igael Tumarkin for USD 375.00 (€ 296.02). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Igael Tumarkin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in April 2001 with an auction result of USD 8,225.00 (€ 9,268.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sun Dial von Igael Tumarkin für USD 375,00 (€ 296,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Igael Tumarkin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.225,00 (€ 9.268,65).
