Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Igael Tumarkin for EUR 2,375.00. This price was achieved in the auction Art Contemporain Day Sale at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Igael Tumarkin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in April 2001 for USD 8,225.00 (€ 9,268.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Igael Tumarkin für EUR 2.375,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Igael Tumarkin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im April 2001 für USD 8.225,00 (€ 9.268,65) versteigert wurde.
