Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Heads, from 'Auden Poems' by Henry Moore, R.A. was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 637.50 (€ 707.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Moore, R.A. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Family Group in June last year with an auction result of GBP 315,000.00 (€ 365,940.40).

Die Arbeit Two Heads, from 'Auden Poems' von Henry Moore, R.A. wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 637,50 (€ 707,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Moore, R.A. erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Family Group im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 315.000,00 (€ 365.940,40).
