A top price for Henry Moore, R.A. - as previously expected
In June last year Sothebys in London held the auction British Art: The Jubilee Auction, which included the work Family Group by Henry Moore, R.A.. The price achieved of GBP 315,000.00 (€ 365,940.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Family Group is the most expensive artwork by Henry Moore, R.A. that we have observed at auctions so far.
