Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work A calm sea by Henry Moore, R.A. for GBP 832.00 (€ 955.37). This price was achieved in the auction The Marine Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Moore, R.A. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Family Group in June last year with an auction result of GBP 315,000.00 (€ 365,940.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A calm sea von Henry Moore, R.A. für GBP 832,00 (€ 955,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Marine Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Moore, R.A. erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Family Group im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 315.000,00 (€ 365.940,40).
