The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,000.00 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Henk Helmantel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 73,500.00.

Die Arbeit A still life with a Roman glass von Henk Helmantel wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.000,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henk Helmantel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 73.500,00.
