Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Modern Art, which included the work A view of Huizinge, Groningen by Henk Helmantel. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 700,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 13,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Henk Helmantel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 73,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A view of Huizinge, Groningen von Henk Helmantel zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 13.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henk Helmantel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 73.500,00.
