Die Arbeit A still life with a jug, a box and a red book von Henk Helmantel wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 15.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henk Helmantel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 73.500,00.
