In December 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Modern Art, which included the work A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers by Henk Helmantel. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 73,500.00 47% above the upper estimate. With this result, A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers is even the most expensive work of art by Henk Helmantel that we have observed at auctions so far.
