Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Midas Touch by Hajime Sorayama was auctioned at Phillips in London in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,651.00 (€ 1,651.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hajime Sorayama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 651,307.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Midas Touch von Hajime Sorayama kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.651,00 (€ 1.651,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hajime Sorayama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 651.307,65).
