Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Phillips in London held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work A Touch of Mercury by Hajime Sorayama. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,905.00 (€ 1,905.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hajime Sorayama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 651,307.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Touch of Mercury von Hajime Sorayama zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.905,00 (€ 1.905,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hajime Sorayama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 651.307,65).
