Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hajime Sorayama could be acquired at Christies in Shanghai in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th/21st Century Art Sale auction, the work Sexy Robot Infinity - 1/3 Scale changed hands for HKD 567,000.00 (€ 68,410.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 700,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hajime Sorayama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 651,307.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hajime Sorayama konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in Shanghai für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Sale wechselte die Arbeit Sexy Robot Infinity - 1/3 Scale für HKD 567.000,00 (€ 68.410,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 700.000,00 – 1.500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hajime Sorayama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 651.307,65).
