The »bidding war« ended at USD 60,480.00 (€ 56,360.08), 51% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Godwin Champs Namuyimba - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Connector, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 1,323,000.00 (€ 147,104.19).
