Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Aeropittura (Aeropainting) by Gerardo Dottori was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in March 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,367.78). Admittedly, works by Gerardo Dottori have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aerei-vele-lago in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 164,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Aeropittura (Aeropainting) von Gerardo Dottori wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.367,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerardo Dottori auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aerei-vele-lago im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 164.600,00.
