Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gerardo Dottori could be acquired at Sothebys in London in February 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, auction, the work Colori Innamorati (Colours In Love) changed hands for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,872.56) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gerardo Dottori have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aerei-vele-lago in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 164,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gerardo Dottori konnte im Februar 2020 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, wechselte die Arbeit Colori Innamorati (Colours In Love) für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.872,56) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerardo Dottori auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aerei-vele-lago im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 164.600,00.
