Sold at the upper estimate price
In May this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Balbo by Gerardo Dottori. The auction ended at the price of EUR 6,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerardo Dottori achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aerei-vele-lago in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 164,600.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Balbo von Gerardo Dottori zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 6.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerardo Dottori erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aerei-vele-lago im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 164.600,00.
