Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Aurora Sulle Isole by Gerardo Dottori was sold in the AeropitturaItalian Futurism in Flight auction at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,961.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerardo Dottori achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aerei-vele-lago in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 164,600.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Aurora Sulle Isole von Gerardo Dottori wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion AeropitturaItalian Futurism in Flight bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.961,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerardo Dottori erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aerei-vele-lago im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 164.600,00.
