Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Plums in a pot by Gerard Röling was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2011. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,500.00 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gerard Röling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plums in a dish in June 2003 with an auction result of EUR 17,925.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Plums in a pot von Gerard Röling wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.500,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerard Röling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plums in a dish im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.925,00.
