Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gerard Röling could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations auction, the work Flowers in a vase changed hands for EUR 1,250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerard Röling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plums in a dish in June 2003 with an auction result of EUR 17,925.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gerard Röling konnte im September 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations wechselte die Arbeit Flowers in a vase für EUR 1.250,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerard Röling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plums in a dish im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.925,00.
