Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A still life with strawberries by Gerard Röling was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. The price achieved of EUR 1,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerard Röling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plums in a dish in June 2003 with an auction result of EUR 17,925.00.

Die Arbeit A still life with strawberries von Gerard Röling kam im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerard Röling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plums in a dish im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.925,00.
