Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Still Life With Watermelon by Gerard Röling was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2013. It achieved a price of EUR 1,875.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Admittedly, works by Gerard Röling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plums in a dish in June 2003 with an auction result of EUR 17,925.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Still Life With Watermelon von Gerard Röling kam im März 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerard Röling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plums in a dish im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.925,00.
