Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 40,320.00 (€ 37,573.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gavin Turk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pile, which sold at auction in June 2015 for GBP 104,500.00 (€ 147,343.69).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 40.320,00 (€ 37.573,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Für andere Arbeiten von Gavin Turk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pile beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für GBP 104.500,00 (€ 147.343,69) versteigert wurde.
