Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gavin Turk achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December last year. In the New Now auction, the work Paradise Lost sold for GBP 6,930.00 (€ 7,823.30) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gavin Turk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pile in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 104,500.00 (€ 147,343.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gavin Turk erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Paradise Lost für GBP 6.930,00 (€ 7.823,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gavin Turk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pile im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 104.500,00 (€ 147.343,69).
