Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Nude #3 by Garth Weiser was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2018. The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,175.32), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Garth Weiser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,299.29).

Die Arbeit Nude #3 von Garth Weiser kam im März 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.175,32) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Garth Weiser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.299,29) versteigert wurde.
