Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dad's Doodles by Garth Weiser was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 6,930.00 (€ 8,275.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Admittedly, works by Garth Weiser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,299.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dad's Doodles von Garth Weiser kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 8.275,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Garth Weiser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.299,29).
