Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lithograph (J. 108) by Fred Sandback was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,913.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Sandback achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Broadway Boogie Woogie (Sculptural Study, Twenty-two part Vertical Construction) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 545,000.00 (€ 495,724.94).
