In September last year Christies in New York held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Barticaflats VII by Frank Bowling. The »bidding war« ended at USD 403,200.00 (€ 412,143.51), 34% above the upper estimate. Other works by Frank Bowling have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 695,250.00 (€ 781,564.11) in June 2019 for the work Beggar No. 3.

Im September letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barticaflats VII von Frank Bowling zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 403.200,00 (€ 412.143,51) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Frank Bowling haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 695.250,00 (€ 781.564,11) im Juni 2019 für die Arbeit Beggar No. 3 beobachtet.
