This work without title by Frank Bowling was sold in the Modern British & Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 190,900.00 (€ 222,174.73), 27% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Bowling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Beggar No. 3, which sold at auction in June 2019 for GBP 695,250.00 (€ 781,564.11).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Frank Bowling wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 190.900,00 (€ 222.174,73) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank Bowling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Beggar No. 3 beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für GBP 695.250,00 (€ 781.564,11) versteigert wurde.
