It achieved a price of GBP 40,320.00 (€ 46,298.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Bowling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beggar No. 3 in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 695,250.00 (€ 781,564.11).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 40.320,00 (€ 46.298,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Bowling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beggar No. 3 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 695.250,00 (€ 781.564,11).
