Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Soothing Landscape by Feng Yiming was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2009. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 19,357.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Yiming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mysterious Clouds in the Fall, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 680,000.00 (€ 70,837.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Soothing Landscape von Feng Yiming wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 19.357,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Yiming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mysterious Clouds in the Fall beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 680.000,00 (€ 70.837,92) versteigert wurde.
