Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Feng Yiming was sold in the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,338.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Yiming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mysterious Clouds in the Fall in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 680,000.00 (€ 70,837.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Feng Yiming wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.338,90) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Yiming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mysterious Clouds in the Fall im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 680.000,00 (€ 70.837,92).
