This artwork by Feng Yiming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Sound of the Valley sold for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 61,980.29) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Feng Yiming; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mysterious Clouds in the Fall sold at auction in May 2012 with the realized price of HKD 680,000.00 (€ 70,837.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Yiming erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Sound of the Valley für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 61.980,29) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Feng Yiming; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mysterious Clouds in the Fall im Mai 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 680.000,00 (€ 70.837,92).
