Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Autumn Rain with the Melody of Brooks by Feng Yiming was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 31,091.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Yiming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mysterious Clouds in the Fall, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 680,000.00 (€ 70,837.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Autumn Rain with the Melody of Brooks von Feng Yiming kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 31.091,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Yiming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mysterious Clouds in the Fall beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 680.000,00 (€ 70.837,92) versteigert wurde.
