Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Acrílico No. 7 by Fanny Sanín. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,745.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Fanny Sanín have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Acrylic No. 4 was auctioned for USD 50,000.00 (€ 47,339.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Acrílico No. 7 von Fanny Sanín zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.745,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Fanny Sanín konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Acrylic No. 4 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 47.339,52) versteigert.
