A top price for Fanny Sanín - as previously expected
The work Acrylic No. 4 by Fanny Sanín was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in November 2015. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 47,339.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Acrylic No. 4 is the most expensive artwork by Fanny Sanín that we have observed at auctions so far.
