In November 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Acrylic No. 2, 1990 by Fanny Sanín. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,326.33) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Fanny Sanín have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Acrylic No. 4 was auctioned for USD 50,000.00 (€ 47,339.52).
