Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work L'Indolence by Eva Gonzalès. Here, the upper estimate of USD 450,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 483,000.00 (€ 405,950.58). Admittedly, works by Eva Gonzalès have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Au bord de la mer (Honfleur) in November last year with an auction result of USD 2,700,000.00 (€ 2,615,518.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Indolence von Eva Gonzalès zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 450.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 483.000,00 (€ 405.950,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eva Gonzalès auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Au bord de la mer (Honfleur) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.700.000,00 (€ 2.615.518,74).
